Drayton Michaels
has been working with dogs professionally for over 7 years. He is a graduate of the SFSPCA Academy for Dog Trainers, known as ‘the Harvard for dog trainers’. At the academy, Drayton honed his dog training and behavior modification skills under the tutelage of world-renowned dog behavior experts, Jean Donaldson and Janis Bradley. This opportunity provided Drayton with a keen understanding and application of modern, science-based techniques with an effective, positive, non-force approach. In addition to his academic studies, Drayton has logged countless volunteer hours with numerous shelters and rescue organizations, helping to foster, rehabilitate and train pit bulls.
As a certified professional dog trainer and behavior modification specialist, Drayton’s work is focused most specifically on rehabilitating and training Pit Bull dogs. He has a strong commitment to educating people to be responsible dog owners and provides them with the skills and knowledge to create the safest and strongest bond possible, while effectively training their dogs.
